Responsibilities
  • Write grant requests to raise funds for the annual production
  • Plan and organize quarterly fundraising events
  • Research potential external sponsors that will help fund the annual production
  • Coordinate with sponsors and donors to finalize sponsorships and donations
  • Assist the external and internal finance managers with 
Qualifications
  • No experience required (you’ll learn on the job!)
  • Knowledge of basic fundraising/sales preferred

Responsibilities

  • Create the overarching design and marketing materials, reflective of the themes for this year’s play
  • Design the sponsor’s pitch deck and the production show booklet
  • Design merchandise for the production, including but not limited to stickers and T-shirts
  • Assist the marketing team with producing graphics for social media and web content
  • Manage and improve KCN’s brand guidelines and design system

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in design
  • Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma is a plus
  • Having 2+ sample works is recommended

Responsibilities

  • Manage KCN’s various social media and marketing channels as well as start new ones
  • Pitch creative ideas for digital content and print materials
  • Research and analyze the latest marketing and PR trends
  • Devise new marketing strategies and campaigns for KCN’s upcoming production
  • Collaborate with other marketing team members to accomplish projects
  • Ensure all marketing deliverables and promotional materials reflect KCN’s mission and image
  • Attend and help organize special KCN events, performance team practices, and production

Qualifications

  • No experience required (you’ll learn on the job!)
  • Preferably a freshman or sophomore
  • Interest in marketing, public relations, communications, and social media
  • Some proficiency in Canva and social media is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Take photos of this year’s production at Royce Hall
  • Organize a time for this year’s KCN team to take headshots
  • Produce photo content for marketing and promotional purposes
  • Assist the marketing team with taking and editing photos
  • Attend special KCN events, performance team practices, and production

Qualification

  • Some experience with photography, camerawork, and editing
  • Having own camera equipment is a plus
  • Having sample works is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director and Production Managers during rehearsals
  • Secure rehearsal locations for performance teams
  • Serve as a liaison between production managers and performance teams on show day
  • Attend and participate in executive board meetings and assist staff members where necessary

Qualification

  • Organized and good at communications
  • Theater tech experience is a plus but not required
  • Able to allocated a couple hours per week to responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research and audits to identify areas for improvement on KCN’s website
  • Produce wireframes and prototypes for web design projects
  • Ensure the website is user-friendly and accessible
  • Collaborate with the graphic designers to develop the website’s design system and branding guidelines
  • Communicate with the web developer to assess the technical feasibility and implementation of designs

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in UI/UX design and/or web design
  • Proficiency with Figma
  • Knowledge of WordPress is a plus
  • Having 1+ sample work is recommended

Responsibilities

  • Record this year’s production at Royce Hall and edit the recording into a format suitable for YouTube
  • Film teaser videos and official trailer for the production
  • Produce video content for marketing and promotional purposes
  • Assist the marketing team with filming and editing videos
  • Attend special KCN events, performance team practices, and production

Qualifications

  • Some experience with videography, camerawork, and editing
  • Having camera equipment is a plus
  • Having sample works is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage the website on WordPress, ensuring that all necessary pages are functional and regularly updated
  • Optimize the website for performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and marketing objectives
  • Implement the designs provided by UX designers
  • Communicate with UX designers to assess technical feasibility and implementation of designs

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in programming and WordPress
  • Knowledge of WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Having 1+ sample work is recommended
